Covid-19 Vaccination for Children Aged 6-11 in Koja Has Touched 94 Percent

The Covid-19 vaccination services for children aged 6-11 held in Koja, Cilincing and Kelapa Gading sub-districts, continue to be intensified. As a result, as conducted in Koja Sub-district, the vaccination achievement has touched 94.37 percent.

Thus far, we have served around 19,321 children

North Jakarta Education Region 2 Sub-agency Head, Purwanto explained, the vaccination targeted 21,601 children aged 6-11 in Koja Sub-district, which was recorded from 62 schools. The vaccination itself has been carried out since mid-December 2021.

"Those children are from 62 schools consisting of public and private elementary schools, as well as two special schools (SLB). Thus far, around 10,385 children had undergone the first dose," he expressed, Wednesday (1/26).

While in Kelapa Gading Sub-district, 82.79 percent of the total target of 12,111 children had received vaccine shots. They were from 42 state and private elementary schools.

Then in Cilincing Sub-district, 81 percent of the total target of 23,984 children had been vaccinated. They were from 80 state and private elementary schools, as well as SLB.

"Thus far, we have served around 19,321 children. Certainly, the vaccination will be intensified to achieve the target," he stated.
